GEPCO Online Bill Check

GEPCO supplies electricity to around 5.1 million consumers across six districts of Punjab’s Gujranwala region — Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, and every town in between. If your paper bill never arrived or you need a duplicate, you don’t have to visit an office. Enter your 14-digit reference number below and open the official GEPCO bill portal in one click.

GEPCO Bill Checker

Enter the 14-digit reference number from any old GEPCO bill. We’ll validate it, then open the official portal with everything ready.

The number is printed on every GEPCO bill as “Reference No.” — 14 digits, no spaces or dashes. The portal also accepts a Customer ID (10–14 digits) if you select that option on their page.

Where Is the Reference Number?

  1. Find any old GEPCO bill — paper or a photo of one works.
  2. Look at the top-left section for “Reference No.” It’s a 14-digit number, usually printed in bold near your name and address.
  3. Type it here exactly as printed — don’t skip leading zeros, and don’t add spaces or dashes.
  4. Press “Check Bill” — the official GEPCO portal opens in a new tab. You’ll need to complete the captcha there and press Search.

How to Pay Your GEPCO Bill

Once you’ve seen the bill, payment takes a minute. Pay through JazzCash, Easypaisa, or Upaisa under utility bills; internet or mobile banking apps (HBL, UBL, Meezan, Bank Alfalah); ATMs; NADRA e-Sahulat centers; post offices; or any bank branch. There’s no extra charge for paying online — just the bill amount. Pay before the due date printed on the bill to avoid the late-payment surcharge.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I check my GEPCO bill with my CNIC or name?

No. The official portal only works with the 14-digit reference number or a 10–14 digit Customer ID. It can’t look bills up by CNIC or by name — there would be too many matches.

The portal says “Given Ref/App No is invalid.” What went wrong?

Almost always a typing slip. Check for spaces, dashes, or a dropped leading zero. The reference number must be exactly 14 digits. If you picked the Customer ID option instead, it needs 10 to 14 digits, numbers only.

The GEPCO portal isn’t loading. Is it down?

Probably not — the PITC portal is known to hang on the first try, especially in the evening. Wait a minute and reload before assuming it’s down. If it still won’t open, try again during off-peak hours (morning).

Is there an official GEPCO mobile app for checking bills?

No official GEPCO bill app exists. Enter your reference number only on the official PITC portal (bill.pitc.com.pk/gepcobill). Unofficial apps on app stores are not affiliated with GEPCO, so don’t trust them with your account details.

How do I download or print my duplicate bill?

After entering your reference number on the official portal, your bill appears on screen. Use your browser’s print option or “Save as PDF” to keep a copy — the duplicate works for payments at banks and as proof of billing.

I lost my reference number completely. What now?

Reference numbers are unique to each meter, so a neighbor’s won’t help. Your options: find any old bill or its photo, or call 118 with your address and meter details so GEPCO can look it up for you.
