- Find your consumer number on any old bill (11 digits for SNGPL, 10 digits for SSGC). Screenshots, bank receipts, and JazzCash/Easypaisa payment history often show it too.

Reading Your Meter (Reduce the Next Bill)
Many households pay more than they should because of estimated readings. When the meter reader misses your visit, the bill is guessed — and winter estimates are often high. If you know your billing cycle, compare the “current reading” on the bill with the actual dial on your meter. Report a wrong reading to your company’s helpline immediately — both SNGPL and SSGC correct genuine reading errors.
How to Pay Your Sui Gas Bill
Gas bills pay through every major channel: JazzCash, Easypaisa and Upaisa under utility bills; internet/mobile banking from any bank; ATMs; NADRA e-Sahulat kiosks; post offices; and all bank branches. Pay before the due date on the bill — the late surcharge on gas bills stings more than most expect.

Which company is mine — SNGPL or SSGC?
If you’re in Punjab, KPK or Azad Kashmir, it’s SNGPL (Sui Northern). If you’re in Sindh or Balochistan, it’s SSGC (Sui Southern). Your old bill’s letterhead names the company too.
How many digits is the consumer number?
SNGPL uses an 11-digit consumer number; SSGC uses a 10-digit customer number. Enter digits only — no spaces or dashes. It’s different from the meter number and (on SSGC bills) different from the 12-digit Bill ID.
Why is there no bill for this month?
Most residential SNGPL customers — and many SSGC ones — are billed bi-monthly, so a blank result often just means no bill was generated for that period. Check again next month before assuming something is broken.
Why is my winter gas bill so much higher?
Heating and geyser use pushes consumption into higher tariff slabs — the per-unit rate rises in steps as you use more. So the same routine that costs little in summer can produce a big winter bill. Keeping usage under the lower slabs makes a real difference.
Can I check the bill with my CNIC or address?
No. Neither portal offers CNIC or address lookup. You need the consumer number from an old bill. Lost it? Check bank or JazzCash/Easypaisa payment receipts, or call 1199 with your details and the company can retrieve it.
Can I get my bill by email or SMS instead of paper?
Yes — SNGPL lets you register free for bill-by-email and SMS alerts on sngpl.com.pk under Customer Services → “Register – Email Bill / SMS Alert”. You’ll need your consumer number, CNIC with issue date, a mobile number and an email address.
