FESCO supplies electricity to around 5.6 million consumers across eight districts of central Punjab — Faisalabad, Sargodha, Mianwali, Khushab, Jhang, Bhakkar, Toba Tek Singh, and Chiniot. If your paper bill never arrived or you need a duplicate, you don’t have to visit an office. Enter your 14-digit reference number below and open the official FESCO bill portal in one click.
FESCO Bill Checker
Enter the 14-digit reference number from any old FESCO bill. We’ll validate it, then open the official portal with everything ready.
The number is printed on every FESCO bill as “Reference No.” — 14 digits, no spaces or dashes. The portal also accepts a Customer ID (10–14 digits) if you select that option on their page.
Where Is the Reference Number?
- Find any old FESCO bill — paper or a photo of one works.
- Look at the top-left corner for “Reference No.” It’s a 14-digit number, usually printed in bold near your name and address.
- Type it here exactly as printed — don’t skip leading zeros, and don’t add spaces or dashes.
- Press “Check Bill” — the official FESCO portal opens in a new tab. You’ll need to complete the captcha there and press Search.

How to Pay Your FESCO Bill
Once you’ve seen the bill, payment takes a minute. FESCO accepts all the usual channels: JazzCash, Easypaisa, and Upaisa under utility bills; internet and mobile banking from any major bank; 1-Link ATMs; and NADRA e-Sahulat centers. There’s no extra charge for paying online — just the bill amount. Pay before the due date printed on the bill to avoid the late-payment surcharge.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I check my FESCO bill with my CNIC or name?
No. The official portal only works with the 14-digit reference number or a 10–14 digit Customer ID. It can’t look bills up by CNIC, name, address, or meter number — there would be too many matches.
The portal says “Given Ref/App No is invalid.” What went wrong?
Almost always a typing slip. Check for spaces, dashes, or a dropped leading zero — the reference number must be exactly 14 digits. If you picked the Customer ID option instead, it needs 10 to 14 digits, numbers only.
The FESCO portal isn’t loading. Is it down?
Probably not — the PITC portal is known to hang on the first try, especially in the evening. Wait a minute and reload before assuming it’s down. If it still won’t open, try again during off-peak hours (morning).
What are the U and R options next to the reference number box?
The portal shows them but doesn’t explain what they mean. Leave the default “Reference No.” option selected — that’s the 14-digit number from your bill, and it’s the one that works.
Can I use the duplicate bill as payment proof?
Yes. Once the bill shows on the portal, print it or choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog. That copy works for paying at banks, JazzCash/Easypaisa agents, and NADRA e-Sahulat centers, and for your own records.
I lost my reference number completely. What now?
Reference numbers are unique to each meter, so a neighbor’s won’t help. Your options: find any old bill or its photo, or call 118 with your address and meter details so FESCO can look it up for you.
